At Church on Sunday you would think picking someone to read scripture would be an easy procedure.
Well apparently to some this is not an easy procedure, and should be a very thought out task.
Why should picking someone to pray in the congregation be such a difficult task?
Because a few people think that the person praying should speak Queen’s English when reading the Bible as it is more aesthetically pleasing to the people listening.
In my opinion God’s word is God’s word, and it does not matter how it is read.
Thankfully, the people who moan and pick holes in Sunday morning services are not the people in leadership and co-ordinating who speaks from the Bible on a Sunday.
The Bible is for everyone, just as God is for everyone.
It does not matter how you speak and where you are from you can read the Bible.
The Bible has been translated in so many different ways, so that everyone can understand what God is trying to say to them.
